| Just the Facts |
| Little Petunia was from a puppymill. Her mother was Buttercup. She is a very active, energetic gal who will need lots of exercise. Petunia would also benifit from some obedience training :o) She will most likely need some help with housetraining. Petunia got her name because she is a lady of many colors. She is gray/black/white with blue eye's! We have just taken Petunia into rescue, so more will be known about her soon. Contact us if you can help! Update: After Petunia's vet visit, we have figured out she is deaf. She would be a great one to put through sign language classes :o)! Petunia's adoption would only be $200 which includes all her vaccines, microchip, and spay! UPDATE: 11/3/08...Petunia came to her foster home completely housetrained. She doesn't like being outside w/o her foster mom. Petunia has twice per day medication for her ears and allergies. She is showing much improvement with both and we are very pleased with this even though it is a slow process. She knows sign commands and is currently in behavioral classes. Petunia is very loving to her foster mom to a fault. Her lessons are helping her accept commands and treats from strangers. She does like other dogs, but she gets VERY jealous when her foster mom pays the other dogs attention when she feels that she should get ALL the attention. Because Petunia takes no heed in who is around when she has a jealous fit and bites another dog, she is not allowed at Mingle, but you can have a private meeting with her.
