| Just the Facts |
| Venus is happy, calming companion. My dogs love her (she is very submissive). As you can see, she is a beautiful black and tan, with a health and glistening coat. I was very shocked at her estimated age. She doesn't act or look 8-yrs-old, because she is a small, active and very healthy. She scampers around the house and has become a member of the pack. She is a very happy girl and constantly wags her tail. She is very sweet and docile. She knows her name and comes runnig when I call her. Venus is very good in her crate, she never whines and does not suffer from separation anxiety. Venus follows me around, accepts treats from my hand and is learning commands. She is excellent on walks. She stays at my side or follows a bit. Venus initiates play with my dogs, and when they occasionally refuse her, she happily trots away to another adventure. Venus is very quiet, she never barks despite the cacophony of dog barks both inside and out. She is a very friendly dog and loves to meet other people and dogs. She is overjoyed at running around the backyard. Venus approaches me when she wants to be petted or have her ears scratched. If I don't pay attention, she politely and subtly pokes my knee with her nose to get my attention. Venus loves to sit on my lap and be petted. However, I have to pick her up to sit on my lap, because she would never dream of jumping on the furniture. She sleeps in her dog bed at night and again would never dare get on the bed. The groomers said she was very well behaved and polite, and they couldn't believe that she was in rescue because she is so beautiful and has a great personality. And I was like, I know, right? Come to Mingle to meet Venus. She is so happy to meet new people and won't disappoint you!
