Bob is a loving & sweet, approx 7 year old, buff male Cocker Spaniel. He was a stray at a kill shelter before he came to rescue.
He just loves to get all the attention and give lots of doggie kisses. Bob thoroughly enjoys his toys & nylabones. He piles his toys in a "toy spot", & plays with them for hours. He destroys soft toys, so hard toys & balls only with this scamp. We would recommend older children at this time. He does well with the 10 & 12 yr old kids in the home, and they get along great.
Bob is crate trained & house trained. He gets along with the other dogs & cat. He's come a long way in foster care and has proven himself to be an excellent, loving companion dog. His foster family is very much in love with their "Baby Bob", but knows there is another loving home out there just for him.
He is VERY active, older dog. He thinks he's still a puppy. For more information, please contact his foster at ccrfostermom@yahoo.com.
Since Bob was a stray, and likes to chase squirrels etc, some type of secure fence will need to be in place for Bob. Bob is very smart & will find any weakness in a fence and try to crawl under or jump over a fence. Bob will never be a dog that can go "off lead", he will have to be leashed at all times. He will run.
Bob does wonderful at adoption events and is always popular because he's so social, wanting to be the first to get petted and loved. Will you be the special one to love Bob forever? Bob's adoption fee will only be $150.
